This hand blown glass vase is stunning in its complexity. The process is so successful in creating amazing patters with a wide variety of colors. This would make an excellent centerpiece for any collection.
The Amber Blue Reticello Vase began life as a herringbone patterned mosaic, which was manipulated extensively during the glassblowing process to create this unique pattern. The curved, segmented swirl is visible on both sides of the piece. This creates a very complex and organic interaction of the colors and pattern. Blues and yellows combine to create shades of green while the black and chalcedony make the colors really pop and give a sense of depth to the visual effect.
