This egg is a showstopper. It would make an incredible centerpiece. The wonderful greens and blues are highlighted with black and blue squares of color. The piece has cutouts that allow the viewer to really see through the piece. Texture is carved on the outside to bring another layer of complexity to the piece.
The Tobiko egg is made with an intracate mosaic and extensive carving with voids cut into it like some of my other egg sculptures. After all the cutting and carving is complete, it is heated it back up and gently allow it to deform in the flame. This creates a warped organic form that is directly related to the composition of the colors and placement and shape of the voids.
