Description
VICTOIRE BOWL MULTI is created from mosaic bands arranged to accentuate the interaction of colors as you look into and through. The mosaic itself is then fused in the heat of the glassblowing furnace, sculpted and blown into shape. The bowl is also set to rest on a table with the rim at an angle, welcoming light and the viewer into the bowl and setting up a more effective view through the bowl. An interaction between colors that contain silver, copper and gold compounds create color interactions that change not only depending on perspective but also on the difference between reflective and transmissive light. . Complex patterning and overlay of pattern and texture along with the semi metallic elements interact in different ways depending on the light, so you will see something different each time you look at it.
